The UAE has increased the price of petrol and diesel prices in August 2026, thereby increasing prices for fueling cars throughout the nation. The new rates take effect on August 1 and will be applicable at petrol stations across the country.
The UAE Fuel Price Committee has established Super 98 petrol at Dh3.60 per Liter Special 95 costs Dh3.49 as well as E-Plus 91 for Dh3.41. Diesel is priced at Dh3.80 each litre. Every fuel class has been increased to 20 fils per Liter, compared to July.
For July Super 98 cost Dh3.40 per litre. Special 95 was priced at Dh3.29 and E-Plus 91 was Dh3.21 Diesel was sold at Dh3.60 each litre. The reduction in July had come after the rising of four consecutive months prices for fuel.

How much will a fully-loaded tank cost?
The amount that drivers pay is contingent on the tank capacity of their vehicle and the fuel grade they use.
If you have a compact car with the capacity of a 50-litre tank and a complete refill costs:
- Super 98: Dh183.60
- Special 95: Dh177.99
- E-Plus 91: Dh173.91
- Diesel: Dh193.80
For a car of medium size with a tank of 62 litres drivers will be charged:
- Super 98: Dh223.20
- Special 95: Dh216.38
- E-Plus 91: Dh211.42
- Diesel: Dh235.60
The owners of larger cars and SUVs that have tanks of tank that is 74-litres will have to pay:
- Super 98: Dh266.40
- Special 95: Dh258.26
- E-Plus 91: Dh252.34
- Diesel: Dh281.20
Since the four fuel types have increased by 20 fils per liter so a fill-up of 51 litres costs Dh10.20 greater than it was in July. The extra cost would be Dh12.40 for a tank that holds 62 litres, as well as Dh14.80 for a tank of 74 litres.
